What smells faintly like a skunk and a little like rubber cemet?

The wall that joins my apartment to my neighbors smells of the things mentioned above. What could it be?What smells faintly like a skunk and a little like rubber cemet?
the skunk part sounds like urine, so could be the place is infested with rodents.





but rubber cement? nothing organic smells like that. If the place is infested then the critters are probably chewing through electrical cords and wires and insulation and them urinating on those things could cause a chemical smell mixed with the skunk smell.





then again, as another poster pointed out, your neighbors could be cooking up something illegal. Ammonia (which is what stale urine becomes) is sometimes used in various drug making endeavors and if you heat it up, it stinks like skunk.What smells faintly like a skunk and a little like rubber cemet?
a dead rat maybe lost his life inside the wall and know is smelling up the apt.if that is the case they sell some stuff in the hardware store it comes in a little bucket you open the lid and leave it out and it will get rid of the odor just ask the man or woman at the hardware store what it is called tell them your situation and you think you have a dead rat or mouse inside your wall and it is smelling up your apt.
Im not quite sure what it exactly smells like but meth labs apparently have a strong smell so maybe theyre doing something they really shouldnt be doing. It might also be mold growing in the walls. You should have them call someone to check it out.
