Ah bless him, he is sure one unlucky dog!! as said in previous replies tomato juice should to the trick, not sure on the part putting it in his nostrils tho not sure how you would do that without hurting him maybe better just to ask a vet?!My dog got sprayed by a skunk we washed him and his fur doesn't smell anymore its when he breaths out?
Try feeding him tomato juice, and put a drop or two in each nostril. That should clear it, most of it anyways

Dont put anything in his nose. It will go away in about 3 weeks. its not worth hurting your dog. Just dont sniff his breath for a while...
