How do you rid your yard of skunks?

I used warfarin rat poision in a dish at night. Bring it in during the day, because your neighbors might get a bit testy if one of them loses a cat. But, it worked for me. They eat at it for 2-3 nights, and suddenly they get really thirsty.How do you rid your yard of skunks?
Buy a box of mothballs and scatter them around the area, concentrating on locations that skunks are known to frequent. Be careful about putting so many under your house that the odor enters your living area. Skunks are repelled by the smell. The mothballs will slowly evaporate.
