Suspected skunk scratch or bite?

My dog was either scratched, bitten or cut his nose on his fence last night. We heard him give a little cry then smelled the skunk odor. He has not had his rabies shot in 3 years. I cleaned his nose thoroughly. What should I do at this point? He is kenneled with an access door to his 'yard'.Suspected skunk scratch or bite?
