How Do You Get Rid of Skunk Smell on Dog?

My dog met a skunk last night and got sprayed in the face. Tomato juice helped a little. I washed her with a solution of 1 quart hydrogen peroxide, 1/2 C baking soda, and 2 tablespoons dog shampoo. It took a lot of the smell out but not all. Is there anything else I can try?How Do You Get Rid of Skunk Smell on Dog?
My mother was dog sitting for my nephews schnauzer; she lives in the country. The dog decided to chase a skunk and in turn got sprayed right in the face. My mom said she took some warm soapy water and washed her face real good, then washed it again with vinegar and water.

She said the skunk substance had a yellow color to it and was somewhat sticky.

The dog spent the night in the garage, and the next day my mom went to the vet and got some skunk wash - she said for the most part it really worked well. How Do You Get Rid of Skunk Smell on Dog?
It is a really hard smell to get rid of and I'm not sure there's anything but time that actually takes it away. We had to give our dog MANY,MANY baths with the tomato juice before that smell finally went away. However if you are bathing them often, you may want to give them some sort of fatty acid supplement or put fish oil on their food to keep their skin from getting too dry. But like I said time is about all that will truely make it go away and not just mask it over for a few days.
Tomato Juice, on for 10-15 minutes and keep rubbing it into the fur and skin, rinse her for a good 10 minutes, then use a dog shampoo with a conditioner, I also heard of TAR for dogs, it a shampoo; but; I have never tried that. My German Shepard loves skunks, at least when we go on our hikes....

Also, try the SPCA or your VET.

Good Luck!!
My dog was peed on by a skunk and a friend told me to use white vingear on him. I took him outside douse him with it and then gave him a bath and i could not smell any signs of the skunk smell. Try it it really works.
You should take her to a vet. I know the spray of a skunk is used to temporarily blind it's target. It could really damage her eyes, so take her to a vet.
Got to a pet store. They will have at least three brands of

stuff that is exclusively for skunk smell removal. You will

need it to get rid of the last bit. Good Luck!
I'm afraid other things will only make small improvements, but trust me- My dogs have been sprayed MANY MANY times. It will linger around for a small while, but eventually it will go away. It doesn't take too long.
