How do you get rid of skunks?

We have a mother skunk and about six baby skunks that live under our shed and go back and forth between me and our neighbors yard. I would like to know how to get rid of them, besides calling pest control because i DON'T want to kill them, just rid them from our backyard.

Skunks are like any other pest. If they smell your trash, just like racoons, squirrels and foxes, skunks as well will sniff around for things that they like. Ensure your trash containers are cleaned with a bleach mixture. Seal your bags well so odors don't escape. If they continue to pester, then call the County Animal Catcher and report it. In some juristictions they (the pound) won't respond till more than one resident reports the harrassing problem. Soooooo, get all you friends and nieghbors to call the same Animal Catcher phone number. They will set out traps which will humanely snare the skunks. Then they will tranqe them to sleep and relocate them to the nearest forrest. If they return again, the second time they are caught, they will be put to sleep. Good Luck.How do you get rid of skunks?
