I have a skunk living in a hole that he dug underneith my concrete front steps. What do they eat? What do I do to pursuade him/her to move on. I have a dog and I'm worried about him spraying us or the dog.Have Skunk Living in Front Yard in a hole under the steps. What do I do?
Try putting a big bag of mothballs in the hole, and when you are sure he is gone, dig down two feet, and put chicken wire in the hole before filling in...Keep the mothballs in place, and they will smell, but disintegrate before long...The best procedure we have found...Have Skunk Living in Front Yard in a hole under the steps. We had this problem. When the skunk is out (early evening) plug the hole with big rocks. He/she may dig to get back in. ASAP get some concrete mix and fill in the hole.
When you see Skunk leave hole pour some boric acid down hole and fill hole in sprinkle some b acid over top.
