How to get skunk smell out of dog and house??

my dog got sprayed by a skunk last night and we woke up this morning to an awful smell in the house. Does anyone know of anything to get the odor of my dog and out of my house??How to get skunk smell out of dog and house??
The peroxide/ baking soda will work on the dog. As long as you don't leave your dog in, just open the windows and let the air flow for a long while. If your dog did make it inside, a product called odorxit will clean the inside of the house without bleaching fabrics. How to get skunk smell out of dog and house??
I've always heard to bathe your dog in tomato juice. Not sure how to get it out of your house- there's a really strong cleanser called Fabuluso available in our area(usually dollar stores have it)-it smells really good and is extremely strong-I've used it on carpets and floors, bathtub, etc.- maybe give it a try.
Use this it works. Tomato juice is mostly an old wives tale.

1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide

1/4 cup Baking Soda

1 teaspoon liquid soap

Mix in a bucket (it will fizz).

Soak your dog's fur, but be careful not to get any in his eyes.

Use a sponge to clean off his head and around his eyes.

Knead solution into the fur and be sure to get every part of him with it.

Rinse thoroughly.

On the dog use tomato juice.

On the house I wouldn't use air freshners since it'll just floralize the stink. Maybe febreeze or use that rug powder then vacuum.
Agree with Marci's answer! I have been a pro groomer for 30 years now and the peroxide solution is the ONLY thing that works completely! Tomato juice just leaves a mess!

Try the recipe marci provided, or douche, or febreeze.
not to sure about skunk smell but i have used pure eucalyptus oil on cat spray an it work really well.
