What is a good way to get rid of skunk cabbage?

I really want to get rid of it for good. I would like to find a plant that is really aggressive and also loves water. Then plant it next to the skunk cabbage so it can do its thing. What is a good way to get rid of skunk cabbage?
For really aggressive water plants you can try spiderwarts, water hyacinth, purple loosestrife, arrowhead or arrow arum. Be warned, though, they can be much worse than skunk cabbage.

Also, surprisingly, there are people who want to plant skunk cabbage.
