How to get rid of the skunk smell in my house?

Our house reeks like skunk. I suppose my dog got sprayed, or roweled up a skunk one, but she does not smell. The outside of the house does not smell. Its only the inside! The smell has came once before -about 3 months ago- but passed within a couple weeks. The stench returned today. How do I get rid of it? I believe a skunk could be under the house, not 100% though. How to get rid of the skunk smell in my house?
You'll probably want to call an exterminator and take care of the skunk under the house. I'll guarantee that's what it is, the same thing kept happening to our house when we were growing up. Fortunately it liked to spray under the house in the corner where my parents' room was, so it didn't effect the rest of us much haha.

After the exterminator takes care of the skunk, then you just leave the windows open a lot and let it air out. Try some febreeze. The mixture that I use to wash the dogs when they get skunked probably won't help the house much, though. How to get rid of the skunk smell in my house?
Look close around the bottom of your house for a trail. The trail can be just a slight depression of grass or an area tat is worn to the soil. A skunk trail is generally only 4';-6'; inches wide. If you see an area like this, block it with a piece of cardboard and watch it for a few days. If the cardboard is moved, you have something living under your house. If you have many access areas to under your house, you should block them off permanently since under a home is den-like and very attractive to many small animals. Skunk's will not spray in their den. The odor would be less intense than an actual skunk spray since it would just be the odor that always lingers on skunks.
Call the critter control to go chase it out. or get some brave sole to place a bright light under the house to scare it away. They don't like bright lights.
Maybe you could suggest that your husband put his shoes back on.
stop smoke n it lol j/k track down and scrub it with tomato sauce than wash with soap n water
You have to move. There is no other way. I speak from personal experience.
