Are skunks legal to own as pets in Delaware?

Are skunks legal to own as pets in Delaware? If not is it possible to obtain a permit to own one?Are skunks legal to own as pets in Delaware?
It appears to be legal, but you need to have a permit (see your DNR or local office of US Fish and Wildlife service for info on permits)

Unfortunately, no. They are not legal in Delaware. I don't know about exceptions/permits, but it looks like they post permits if available.





I always wanted a skunk as a pet, but they are illegal in my state, too.





It looks like now more states are banning them than allowing them. What a shame.

I'm sure it's legal, but why would you ever want a skunk?
Call De fish and wildlife, they are the ones who will know.
