How do you get skunk smell out of your car?

Ran over (it was already dead) a skunk and now my car and everything in it smells like skunk. HELP!How do you get skunk smell out of your car?
A car is nothing like a human so you've got a plus there..





You can use heavier treatments of





detergents etc.... But as stated already, Spray bottle with a





Vinegar %26amp; Water solution around the impact area. Let it sit





a while. Then hose it down ( self service car wash with a pressure





spray system ) or regular car wash. Just do one thing if you do





take it to a self service. Do it when it's not too busy, for the sake





of others, and make sure you let the exhaust and cool





down for about 10-15 minutes before you start blasting it with





that cold water.

You can help get rid of the smell by scrubbing the surfaces of the tires and fender wells as much as you can .





But , only time will actually get rid of it.





It will have to wear off .
the smell should only be coming from the outside, good car wash, or have the interior shampooed
vinegar %26amp; water seems to work best, nothing works completely. it will take a month or so to get rid of the smell.
