How to get rid of Skunk smell on eye glasses?

Hello, my mom got sprayed by a skunk last night, and cannot get the smell off of her glasses. She has tried tomato juice, and even vinegar. Does anyone else have another idea how to get the smell out? Of course she is getting a new pair in two weeks, but until then HELP!

that sucks! have you tried rubbing alcohol? i would also suggest you go to a petstore and look for an animal urine and odour neutralizer, there are some that use enzymes to break down odours. good luck!How to get rid of Skunk smell on eye glasses?
Mythbusters tried out different remedies. They could that a paste of baking soda and peroxide worked quite well at breaking up the smell. They even went into the chemistry of it.
let them sit in the tomato juice for awhile.





Then I would try a solution of water and baking soda.





Let them soak there for a time as well.
