How do you get skunk smell out of a dogs mouth?

MOUTH not body. By the way, to all you people out there that say tomato juice, its a proven myth! You guys are idiots! You put dogs in a bath with dawn And COLD water. Now, I have a shetland sheepdog (sheltie) named Willie. We fixed his body odor, now his mouth is uncurable! HELPPP!How do you get skunk smell out of a dogs mouth?
I would just give him a big peice of lamb flank, it will help as is but will also encourage him to drink. How do you get skunk smell out of a dogs mouth?
I agree with the second answer. Raw meat and bone has enzymes in it that do a good job of cleaning your dogs teeth naturally. Just remember to never give your dog cooked bones. That is dangerous for his digestive health. Cooked meat is okay though.

How is someone an idiot if they suggest you use tomatoes to help with skunk odor? Even if you are right, that doesn't make them idiots. They were only trying to help.
There isn't really anything that will really get the smell out of the mouth, since anything effective at deskunking is toxic when ingested. If it was me, I would go pick up a nice meaty raw beef knuckle at the butcher's and let him chew on that for a few hours. Those usually clean teeth better than anything else, and are quite safe as long as they are given raw and not cooked.
TicTac :)
