How to rid my home of skunk smell?

my boyfriend decides to walk out the back door the trash bag moved a little well he seen some gray color and grabbed the broom and hit it pretty hard assuming it was a possum well it wasn't. it was a skunk. most of the spray was on the outside of the house some may have went in the house. im not sure all i know is that my house smells really bad. and i don't know how to get the smell outHow to rid my home of skunk smell?
Most pet stores sell a product (I don't remember what it's called) that contains an enzyme that neutralizes skunk spray. It's like Nature's Miracle (and probably from the same company) that's used to remove urine stains and smells. Just pour or wipe it directly on the surface to be treated and let it soak in. You can then rinse it off with water. Keep applying it if the smell is still there. But, know that skunk smell can last for days or weeks, regardless of treatment, if it's really bad.





I have a little white dog (toy fox terrier) who trapped a skunk under a deck. And, he got hit point blank to where he looked like someone wrote all over him with a highlighting pen. I used this anti-skunk smell stuff from the pet store and bathed him in it a couple times a day for a few days. The smell took weeks to fully go away, especially when he was wet. But, the smell outside dissipated in a couple days after constant flushing with the hose.
