If i were you i would not chase the skunk away. If i were you, i would call animal control and they will come to your house and take care of that situation. The skunk may have babies and that is why the skunk is probaly hanging around under your shed.We have a skunk under our shed, how can we chase it?
Skunks don't back down easily. If you go out to confront it, they usually turn around to fight instead of running off. Your best bet is at night. Go out there with a spotlight and shake the spotlight around at it. Bang on the side of the barn and make a lot of noise. If you do get it to run off, you will have to be ready to close up any way it can get back under there. I knew someone that used ot put bait in a live trap, catch them and relocate them. I never did learn how after he got them in the trap, how did he go pick up the trap to move them without getting sprayed!
First of all don't chase it, they don't run away. You will need to look in the yellow pages and hire an exterminator or animal nuisance control guy or gal to come set a trap (they use marshmallows) and take it away. The bad news is it may be pregnant and give birth, so I wouldn't wait unless you want to keep just everyone away from your shed.

Leave a trail of treats leading away from the shed. If it takes the bait, block off any way it has to get back under. It probably won't attempt to go back if you're around. If professionals use marshmallows, that would probably work. Be careful though, if there are small babies you don't want them dying because it's mean and they stink.
1 - throw some mothballs under the shed, skunks don't like the smell and leave on there own. You can buy them at a drug store.
2- stick a garden hose under the shed and keep turning it on every couple hours. eventuallt the skunks gets tired of having its home flood and leaves
Get some Fox scent. Spray around your yard and near the shed that they live under. Fox is a predator to skunks.
